1. Rental of optical lines

Optical fibers are used in telecommunications, where they replace copper conductors. Their advantage lies in the significantly higher amount of information that can be transmitted over a single fiber, in the small losses and insensitivity to electromagnetic interference from the environment. Each optical fiber can transmit information over multiple channels simultaneously using different wavelengths. They can typically carry between 10 and 400 Gb/s.

Our backbone network is distributed along the power grid with more than 3,000 km of fiber length. Special cables are built into the lightning ropes (OPGW) and are wrapped around the phase conductor of the transmission line (OPWR).

Within urban settlements, we also market optical fibers, which are laid in the electricity sewer. The fiber type and quality are in accordance with ITU-T Recommendation G.652. We are constantly expanding and upgrading our optical network with new connections and modern active equipment.

2. Wireless connections

Our high-performance broadband network uses IP wireless packet access technology and enables high-speed IP services, including high-speed Internet connections and virtual private networks.

We offer users an Internet connection that is always active and allows immediate access to the Internet and other IP services at high transfer speeds. The system with a star architecture enables the connection of up to 300 Mbit/s and works in accordance with the IEEE 802.11n standard.

3. Ethernet VPN connections

Ethernet connections with a capacity range from 1 Mb/s to 10 Gb/s enable transparent data transfer between two points (point to point) over the electricity fiber network.

Ethernet is based on the IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.1 protocols. The Ethernet network enables easy upgrades in terms of bandwidth, high availability in ring or star network topology and thus high data transfer security for users who require reliable and secure data transfer between two points for their work.

4. IP and VPN connections

L3 IP VPN connections allow you to connect multiple remote business units to a virtual private network over an IP/MPLS network. User traffic within an IP/MPLS network is logically separated from other users and can therefore use any IP addressing (private IP addresses). Routing between user locations is enabled through static routing or through routing protocols.

5. SDH and DWDM connections

SDH capacities are offered as secure connections within existing SDH rings. We achieve high reliability due to multi-ring configurations combined with point-to-point connectivity. The services offered are PDH (E1, E3) and SDH (STM-1/4/16/64) on standard interfaces.

The DWDM network is based on the latest ROADM technologies, where different optical wavelengths with endpoints are used within the branched DWDM network, directed simply by using a control system. The routing of individual wavelengths is not tied to a typical p2p DWDM topology, but changes dynamically according to the needs of the client.

  • we offer from 2.5 Gb/s to 400 Gb/s transparent wavelength,

  • 2.5 Gb/s non-transparent service using SDH framing; users have at their disposal: SDH (STM-16), GigE (1 GbE), Fiber Channel (1 G, 2 G), FICON (1 G, 2 G) and ESCON (200 Mb/s),
  • 2.5 Gb/s transparent service,
  • 10 GbE non-transparent services using SDH framing, users have at their disposal: SDH (STM-16), GigE (1 GbE), Fiber Channel (1 G, 2 G) FICON (1 G, 2 G) and ESCON (200 Mb/s),
  • Ethernet interfaces (LAN PHY) 10 GbE,
  • transparent 10 GbE services.

6. Internet

The broadband Internet service provides business users with quick access via IPv4 or IPv6. The service is enabled through high-quality optical or radio access and provides the user with the necessary basis for modern business. We are connected with all Slovenian and major foreign Internet service providers and thus offer fast and quality connectivity for all modern applications.
